Large chunks of well-preserved forest lie almost within daytrip range of Rio de Janeiro and over the course of a week we explore a variety of diverse, endemic-rich habitats. We base ourselves at two comfortable birding lodges: Serra dos Tucanos and Guapi Assu Bird Lodge, both offering easy access to great birding and, of course, unforgettable Brazilian food!
