I was stunned to see a picture of Christian and myself birding in Ethiopia and finding the Prince Ruspoli’s Turaco in October of 2009.As I read through the January 2011 issue of the Jungle Babbler I came across Christians’ article on how to get the client ” trained ” to see the bird that the guide has located. It brought back fond memories of my birding tour to the wonderful country of Ethiopia. In tune with this article,it also brought to mind an amusing instance where Christian became quite frustrated with me as he was trying to point out a woodpecker ( of which species I can’t quite remember ). He finally walked over to the tree that the bird was in and looked at me and said. Do you see this tree? By this time I was a little frustrated to but in retrospect it was actually quite funny.
