Tiny Costa Rica has a lot to offer. Within just a couple hours of its capital, San José, you can see many hundreds of bird species. Our Introtour is designed to offer a variety of habitats (and birds) at a relatively relaxed pace.
Our fortunes were mixed. We had a massive antswarm (complete with “gnatpitta”) on the first morning but were mostly rained out at La Selva. (It was an odd “dry season”.) Overall, though, it was certainly a memorable trip. Quetzals never fail to impress!
