Our inaugural Birding with a Camera® tour to Southern Ecuador was led by Jose Illanes, and we was assisted by Daniel Aldana who was learning the region. It was a great success with loads of amazing birds seen and photographed. Some of the group favorites included Jocotoco and Crescent-faced Antpittas, Long-wattled Umbrellabird, El Oro Parakeet, Chestnut-bellied Cotinga, El Oro Parakeet, Lanceolated Monklet, Red-faced Parrot, White-throated Screech-Owl, Wire-crested Thorntail, and Gray Tinamou.
